Smart Growth America is seeking a Director of Arts and Culture with experience in arts administration, program development and management, and a commitment to SGA’s north star: “a country where no matter who you are, or where you live, you can enjoy living in a place which is healthy, prosperous and resilient.” The Director’s responsibilities include setting the direction of SGA’s arts & culture programs and projects, collaborating across SGA’s teams to bring an artistic lens to their work, managing staff and programs, and fundraising to support SGA’s arts & culture initiatives. This position sits with SGA’s Thriving Communities team and reports to the Director of Transportation for America, while also working closely with the leadership of all of SGA’s teams.
