On behalf of 20 national and community-based groups representing millions of Americans, ITDP submitted a letter to the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) asking the Biden Administration to undertake key project planning, approval, and standard-setting reforms as part of the USDOT Equity Action Plan. Stronger commitments from the Administration are needed to ensure that federal transport investments do not continue to exacerbate environmental inequity, climate change, and public health concerns nationwide.
